Other Ways to Give

Gifts of securities and wire transfers are accepted, but instructions must be provided at the time of the transfer to ensure accuracy and appropriate tracking.

Learn more about various giving options available and how to proceed with those gifts.

Contact Matt Smith, Assistant Director of Advancement, to discuss other options for making an impact with a major gift.

Increase Your Impact with a Matching Gift

More than 7,500 employers will match employees’ contributions to the University of Illinois. Contact your Human Resources Department to find out if your company matches gifts. Your company may match, double or even triple your initial gift. The University of Illinois Foundation also maintains a list of matching companies.

You receive recognition for the entire gift, both your contribution and the company match. Eligible donors for a corporate matching gift may include retired employees, spouses of employees, or widows and widowers of former employees, depending on the corporation's giving policy. Request and complete the matching gift form from your organization’s human resources office.
