Title: Graduate Student
Year: Graduating December 2025
Major: Food Science & Human Nutrition

Objective:  I am passionate about food science and product development, with hands-on experience in formulation, process optimization, and pilot-scale processing. My goal is to help create innovative, high-quality products that deliver value to both consumers and industry partners. I am excited to continue growing in dynamic environments that combine technical challenges with creativity and collaboration.

Desired Field: I am most interested in food product development, process engineering, and ingredient innovation. I enjoy working on projects that involve formulation, process optimization, and scaling up products from lab to production.

Projects:  At IBRL, I worked on projects focused on processing agricultural raw materials into value-added ingredients and bio-based products. My experience included extracting sugars from biomass for fermentation, concentrating extracts using rotary evaporation, and supporting downstream processing operations, such as separation and milling. I also contributed to process optimization trials and maintained high standards of safety and regulatory compliance in pilot-scale operations.

Equipment Capabilities:  Vibro-Energy Separator, Hammermill, Moisture Analyzer, Centrifugation, Membrane filtration, Ingredient Weighing, Drained Weight Measurement, Quality Control Testing, Raw Ingredient Handling, Handling Chemicals, Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Relevant Skills: Skills include product formulation, process optimization, data analysis, competitor benchmarking, and quality control. Relevant coursework and training include Food Processing, Food Chemistry, Nutrition for Food Scientists, and hands-on laboratory experience in bioprocessing and product development.
