Objective:  I am currently a chemical engineering student looking to get into food processing/manufacturing. Specifically driven towards process control and improvements.

Desired Field:  Food processing, both the synthetic and natural sides of the business. Anywhere from manufacturing artificial sweeteners to working with raw plant materials. Any kind of process involved in supplying people with the food they need. 

Projects:  Initially started out with most projects involved in the volatiles room including distillations, column separations and filtration. Then focussed more on membrane filtration and centrifugation separation processes of materials into desired products to then analyze moisture content and solid contents of product streams. 

Equipment Capabilities:  Spiral wound membrane filtration, CIP procedures, decanter set up, disk stack centrifuge, column separation, distillation, and other various separation techniques. 

Relevant Skills: Proficiency in MATLAB and python languages, chemical reaction engineering, mass momentum & heat transfer, thermodynamics, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and process design.
