Objective: I am currently a junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying Chemical Engineering. I am seeking an internship for the summer of 2026, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
Desired Field: I am most interested in the pharmaceutical industry as I have always been interested in seeing the development in new drugs and how to administer them in the most effective way possible
Projects: I have been part of several projects within the fermentation team, all of which typically involve a similar kind of run where a batch is fermented along with sample data and verification that the conditions are right for the fermentation to be successful.
Equipment Capabilities: Using a fermenter and properly maintaining the conditions for a batch.
Relevant Skills: Lab techniques such as pipetting, NMR, IR, and mass balancing. Courses include Fundamental Organic Chemistry I, Biochemistry, Principles of Chemical Engineering, Momentum and Heat Transfer, Accelerated General Chemistry I & II, Accelerated General Chemistry Lab I & II, and Structures and Synthesis
