Objective: Hi, I’m Weiyi Hong, a Food Science student passionate about creating innovative and nutritious food products. I’m currently exploring hands-on experience in food processing, recipe development, and equipment maintenance, with a goal of contributing to sustainable and safe food systems.
Desired Field: I’m most interested in food product development and food processing technologies. I enjoy experimenting with ingredients to improve taste, nutrition, and shelf life. I’m especially fascinated by how science and engineering come together to solve real-world challenges in food innovation.
Projects: I’m currently working on developing a shelf-stable beef stew recipe and producing fruit leather.
